Just came back from Cologne, Germany yesterday. It was only a day trip and only a 3 hours drive there. NL is so accessible to neighbouring countries. They can just drive to Cologne, Paris and Belgium. Nice eh? Ha.

FRIDAY.

Went shopping at Haarlem. Took some pics of the buildings and streets but I don't know why and I just can't upload the pictures! Urghhh. Didn't really shop much because it was raining on that day. And now that it's winter here, the sun rises late at around 9am and sets early at 4 or 5pm. So by 6 it's completely dark and feels like midnight. Ha. The shops closes early too. So, no late night shopping. :( My godmom told me that in some parts of Sweden, the sun never sets at all in summer. Lol.

SATURDAY.

Woke up early and left for Cologne, Germany. I like it there! Haha. The german language sounds nice, the place is pretty, and the guys are even more good looking than Dutch guys!!! Hahahaa. There's one really tall church called Dom and it's really spectacular. Had to crouch down in order to take a full picture of the building. Christmas markets also were set up. One selled hot wine called Getranke if I'm not wrong. Ha. Didn't really like it.

The place was damn crowded. Guess people are doing their Christmas shhopping. My godmom bought an overcoat that costs 50 euros (around $100?) each for me and my granny. Things are so expensive here!! Ate crepe too. It was delicious! Hm, wonder if there any shop in Sg sells that. Walked around the streets at night and the lights are splendid. There's really the atmosphere for Christmas there. Ha. Had dinner at a chinese restaurant and retired back to a hotel nearby for the night. Covered the neccessary places of interests in Cologne in one day. Ha. But didn't go to other parts of Germany.

SUNDAY.

Back to Netherland! The drive took about 3 hours. Godmom showed me how to go to the shopping centres there. When we were in the bus back home, an interesting incident happened. There were 3 guys at the back of the bus creating trouble and making alot of noise. The bus driver went up to them and told them to get off the bus but the guys wouldn't bulge. So the driver refused to drive anymore till they get off and threatened to call the police. The guys still ignore his warnings and when the police came, they argued for a while before they got off cursing and swearing. Not really a pretty sight huh. Ha. And there's one really handsome guy infront of me. He was facing me and gosh, he's really gorgeous! Hahaa. Had dinner at her friend's indonesian/ chinese restaurant. The food was even nicer than the one in Germany. Ha. Took some photos of the place too. Had an early night as we were all deadbeat.

Alright that's all about the three days. Ha. Might be going to Cologne again when another batch of relatives come on the 22nd. Hopefully, we can go to Belgium this weekend. Heh. My godmom actually wanted to bring us to Paris but due to some unforeseen circumstances, it was cancelled. =/ Nvm, I shall be zi zu! Ha. Jess I remember your teachings! Lol. Aw, I miss my girlfriends. :( Anyway, my two sis came back to Sg today. Wonder if they bought anything for me. Lol. Okay, till here then. Tata!
