Today, I attempted to prepare two cup noodles. One for me and another for my brother. I think by the time you read finish the post, you'd be thinking how dumb I am. Oh well..

Okay, since my maid is still at Indonesia, I had to cook the cup noodles myself. Of course I knew how to prepare it. ( I'm not that dumb! ) First, I tear off the lid. Then I added those ingrdients. Lastly, I had to pour hot water. Right? Right.

Well, I took the kettle assuming that there's hot water inside. Then poured the water into both cups and I used a plate to cover it. After 5 minutes, I checked to see if the noodle is cooked. To my utmost surprise, it wasn't.

Went to the kitchen and drip some of the water from the kettle on the table, and used my finger to feel if it was hot. It wasn't. I was like, " I did saw steam coming out of the kettle! ". Lols. Anyway, I couldn't possibly eat that cold thing with its noodles uncooked. So I put both cups into the microwave oven. By that time, both noodles were getting soggy.

After 5 minutes in the oven, it was ready. When I was taking out my cup, my finger got burned. Stupid ^%^%#)*. I almost dropped the whole cup. Lols. But lucky I didn't or else I would have to clean up the mess and would have nothing to eat.

Finally I could sit down and eat. But I got another shock when I took off the plate. All the water was dried up. Almost all, leaving a quarter only. I almost slap myself with exasperation. I was too lazy to add water, so I just ate the soggy noodles. It turned out to be quite okay actually. Lols.

So ya. This post is about my attempt to try and prepare cup noodles. Though it wasn't quite successful.

I"M SUCH A FAILURE!
-sobs. :(

BUT, I learnt 3 lessons today..
#1. I'm such a failure when it comes to cooking. ( If you're wondering how I passed home econs, mostly I did the washing while Jess did the cooking. Lols. )
#2. It's difficult to be a maid.
#3. I can't live without my maid!

SARINAH!! COME BACK PLEASSEEEEEE!!!! Lols.
